Community Involvement
Born and Raised In
The Local Community
I was born and raised in this area. My Father taught me many great life lessons from boyhood on. I want to honor his ways and the Christian principles he taught me from a young age. One of the things he stressed was to “give back to the community from where you were raised”. It was a solid principle that served him well throughout the years in his line of work as a newspaper publisher.
You can trust us
I was deeply humbled to have been asked to rebuild the community memorial wall at our local High School. This wall remembers with deep sadness the tragic loss of these young children. My wife and my heart go out to those families who have lost their children at far too young of an age.
We enjoy doing what we can to help out our small town.
From helping with field work at our local little league and travel baseball organizations, to honoring veterans, to local school projects and the Boy Scouts, church and charity organizations we enjoy doing whatever we can to help out. We have put roots down here and are happy to share our God given talents in whatever small way we can to help our community. Many families in our community have helped make us the business we are today by hiring us and putting their trust in us, so we feel it only right to give back in whatever way we can.
We believe we are only as strong as our community
Also to be able to donate to our local retirement home a small sitting wall, plantings and paver area in honor of those who have served, are serving and will serve so bravely in our armed forces was our distinct pleasure. It was especially special to me in doing this to honor my Father who so bravely fought in the U.S. Army on Guadalcanal in the South Pacific theater of World War 2, and all the other men and women who gave of themselves so unselfishly in all of the previous wars. They deserve all the respect from those of us who enjoy the precious rights of freedom that they have all sacrificed their time and lives for. We are deeply indebted to them for protecting our borders!
We will continue to look for worthwhile causes to give back to our local community as a sign of appreciation and thanks to those around us.
